Aloo Patis Chaat with Curd Recipe

Ingredients (for 3 servings)

  • 1/2 kg of potatoes
  • 1.5 teaspoons of ginger chilly paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons of cornflour
  • 1.5 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of coriander leaves
  • Green chutney
  • Garlic chutney
  • Chaat masala
  • 2 medium-sized finely chopped onions
  • Nylon sev
  • Masala chana dal
  • Oil
  • 1/2 kg of curd

Method

Thoroughly wash the potatoes and boil them in a pressure cooker (4 whistles). Once the cooker has cooled down, take out the potatoes on a plate, peel them off, and smash them. Next, add cornflour, ginger chilly paste, salt, lemon juice, and coriander leaves to the potatoes, and mix well. Now prepare medium-sized round patis from this mixture. Once the patis are prepared, put them in a refrigerator for 1 hour.

After one hour, take out the patis, and roast them with oil on a non-stick pan till they are brownish. Now, take 1-2 patis on a plate and spread green chutney and garlic chutney on top. Next, add 1-2 tablespoons of curd on top. Sprinkle some chaat masala. Follow this with finely chopped onions, nylon sev, and masala dal. Your chaat is now ready to be served.

All ingredient amounts can be adjusted to suit your taste.
